About us

We are a volunteer run registered charity (1170666), which provides primarily emergency food, support, and advice to those who are in need of help and live in the London Borough of Hounslow.

The Hounslow Community FoodBox premises are located at Brickfield Community Centre, Brickfield Close, Brentford TW8 8JN.

Opening Times

Tuesday to Friday 10am to 1pm
Saturday 10am to 12pm

Please note that all clients are given appointments and must have a completed referral voucher provided by a professional registered Referral Partner to access food and support.  You cannot self refer you need to talk to a Referral Partner so that they can complete a referral voucher for you.  Give us a call or email if you need advice on how to get referred to the service.

How we work:

To operate and manage the service we have a Management Board of Trustees responsible for the strategic development and compliance with the Charities Commission regulations and an Operational Committee made up of volunteers and Chaired by a Trustee, which is responsible for the delivering the front line services to our clients. The Operational Committee also gives feedback to the Management Board where it believes we could “do better.”

There are 25 active volunteers delivering the service who are all invited to attend the operational committee.

The service receives support through funding, food donations and volunteering from a range of statutory, corporate, retail organisations and many local residents.

Clients - please contact a referral partner to receive a referral voucher so that you can receive help. Financial donations

We are grateful for financial donations to help run the service and buy essential office supplies, and pay towards our home delivery service for those that are elderly, have ill health and mobility issues.
