Christmas 2019 Appeal

The FoodBox Christmas 2019 Appeal is supported by Brentford Football Club who helped launch it on 21 November – look out for news and watch the video on Twitter and Facebook by clicking the icons above.  Our storeroom is running low at this time of year so we are especially grateful for all donations.  The items we need are listed in the “Food and other donations” section below.

Christmas can be a difficult time of the year for many families, stressed that their children may be missing out and having to make difficult decisions about how to make their finances stretch for gifts and nice food for the table.  So as well as food donations we are happy to receive as many small toys and treats for school children as we can get.

The FoodBox will be providing Christmas hampers for families, selected by our Referral Partners, who have relied on the FoodBox this year.  These hampers will have some festive treats for young and old and gifts for children and are on top of the regular provision of food parcels for those in need.

Please bring food and other donations to Hounslow Community FoodBox, Brickfield Community Centre, Brickfield Close, Brentford TW8 8JN during normal opening hours.  If you are unable to come to the FoodBox please contact Oonah Lacey at info@hounslowfoodbox.org.uk or 07718 263614 and we will try to arrange a collection.

If you would like to make a cash donation please contact Philip Jones at treasurer@hounslowfoodbox.org or 07743 547262.

We always welcome new volunteers, please contact Oonah Lacey at info@hounslowfoodbox.org.uk or 07718 263614 if you would like to donate your time and join the FoodBox.
